Gabriola Brickyard Beach 1913. A man removes his flat cap to wipe the sweat from his brow. With wood and coal he feeds the kilns, chimney smoke pouring above. Parched and burnt he looks to the beach, strewn with bricks. The waves smooth their edges. He longs for evening, when ocean waves turn to ale.
Restrained hop bitterness with a balance of light caramel grain and a clean, dry smoothness to finish.
